The Giving Place

Established in 1996, The Giving Place moved to Freighthouse Square in 1997.

It is a modern-day general store featuring a newsstand, convenience items, wine, beer, greeting cards, gifts from “Simple & Sweet” to “Tastefully Trashy”, LOTTO, souvenirs and so much more. We have merchandise that celebrates the diversity of life

Most notably is the very nature of The Giving Place. 50% of the net profits go directly back into the local community to assist with those living with life-altering conditions and those living in need.
